Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Procurement Technology Services (PTS) Project Manager will drive ongoing enhancements and increased efficiency for Jabil's Procurement Technology Services [external] business and Jabil's Indirect Procurement [internal] organization . This person will partner with resources dedicated to developing and expanding Jabil's Global Procurement & Supply Chain Services (external) and internal organization.

JOB SUMMARY
Project Manager will lead assigned projects, support programs and initiatives of medium to high complexity applying project management expertise to support the company and group's strategy within Jabil's Global Indirect Procurement organization . Manage assigned projects through the various stages of the project lifecycle, from concept to implementation. This includes developing services proposals, SOW s, business cases, project plans with milestones, Supplier/ Customer onboarding, resource time tracking and PO/Invoicing. Provide management and guidance toward successful collaboration with multi-functional groups and direct project team responsible for implementation of external client services and internal organization. Resource will be leading global internal & external client projects which may require adjustments to standard working hours to ensure successfully project delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Internal Projects

- Define concise goals and objectives within a project framework
- Define and recognize project Key Performance Indicators and manage the work within scope, quality, time and cost constraints.
- Support the solution team with developing mitigation plans for project risks
- Work with Solution team to create project plans, track milestones, support action item follow-ups and proactively support raising risks as signs surface.
- Ensure project team identifies project risks as they surface, support mitigation plan development and tracks through closure.
- Facilitate communication as appropriate to all involved and "manage" the stakeholders. This includes escalating issues to the next level of management.
- Accountable for building key stakeholder relationships as deemed relative or necessary to project success.
- Facilitates communication and education for all interested parties as deemed necessary.

External Client Services

- Facilitates the transition of closed Services Contracts between Sales & Delivery teams to ensure all known client information including challenges, goals, agreed upon commitments, contract details including services scope, proposed resources, forecasts, timelines and projected start dates.
- Ensure all project requirements and/or objectives are correctly gathered, understood and properly translated for execution.
- Monitor forecast activities for project staffing needs for current and future project needs
- Accountable for overall project success - including schedule, quality and scope management.
- Accountable for client satisfaction / relationships as deemed relative or necessary to project success.
- Ability to support and lead strong multi-functional teams to achieve client objectives.
- Understand and exceed client needs and expectations while remaining within the boundaries of contracted services.
