Technical support to assist the Supplier Quality Engineering function on assigned Supplier Quality/Incoming areas activities with a high level of efficiency, integrity and enthusiasm, while striving to achieve excellence in all endeavors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist Supplier Quality Engineer on the planning of Incoming Quality operation activities, assuring the correct execution of quality tests for raw material release.
- Assist Supplier Quality Engineer on Nonconforming Material Records (NCMRs) for supplied components and the resolution of nonconformances.
- Assist Supplier Quality Engineer on SCAR - Supplier Corrective/Preventive Action process, including critical analysis of supplier DOE (Design of Experiment), CPK (Process Capability Index), Gauge R&R (Repeatability and Reproducibility) studies.
- Assist Supplier Quality Engineer on NPI activities, as required.
- Assist Supplier Quality Engineer on the definition and development of appropriate Inspection Plans and Inspection Methods.
- Maintain Supplier Quality and Incoming metrics/database: Inspection, MRB (Material Review Board), Customer Returns, SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Report).
- Provides regular updates to Supplier Quality Engineer on assign responsibilities/activities progress.
- Foster good morale, a proactive and positive culture within the workcell QA Team.
- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Comply and follow all procedures within the company's safety policy.
- Support all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives in order to support our zero-accident culture.
