Descripción de la Oferta

The incumbent of this position will work for the Diagnostics Division of Abbott. This position is for Dominican Republic.

Major accountabilities
* Full responsibility for sales quota with a volume of 1.-1.5MM USD including forecasting and target performance achievement.
* Identify new business opportunities by initiating, developing or delivering unique solutions that result in improved outcomes for customer, the distributor and Abbott
* Build senior level relationships and leverage them to drive profitable sales
* Prepare and negotiate long term contracts
* Analyze territory and prioritize time with a combination of short term wins and long term opportunities.
* Analyze impact of market trends, factors, and competitor activities on customers
* Prepare and participate in customer and distributor business reviews

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
* Significant sales experience (minimum of 3 yrs of experience)
* Diagnostic sales experience is a plus
* Strong value selling skills/Consultative selling skills
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Targeting & forecasting skills
* Entrepreneurial and self-guided
* Teamwork/teambuilding skills
* Strong understanding of stakeholder management and customer dynamics
* Portfolio Management skills
* Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues
* Working healthcare and diagnostics industry knowledge that includes the following: changing market dynamics, key competitors, terminology, challenges and potential government regulations
* The position requires the willingness to travel on a frequent basis, i.e. on average four days per week (visit at least 3 customers per day)
* Candidates must be fluent in English
