Basic Accountability

Accountable for analyzing projects/tasks at hand and own the majority of all Quality Assurance deliverables including thoughtful development of test strategies, test plans, test scenarios and test cases for all phases of testing.


Duties and Responsibilities

Strong ability to analyze the output of test execution
Ability to build a appropriate regression strategy
Assist in creating test strategies
Able to work through obstacles and escalate issues early
Builds strong relationships with IT team
Provides as a ‘risk-owner’: communicates and provides documentation throughout the project

Qualifications

Basic understanding of Quality / testing techniques
Average technical expertise. Basic understanding of coding practices (.Net, Java, Abinitio, and or Database management is a plus)

Suplemental Sub Function Qualifications

Knowledge of Agile and/ or Waterfall methodologies
Some experience with test automation or ability to quickly learn and develop skills needed
Strong use of MS office and test management systems (HP, ALM, JIRA, TFS, IBM, Rational suite)
Ability to identify and mitigate risks
Demonstrated success with delivering on time with quality
Adapts quickly to new technologies and processes
