Descripción de la Oferta

The Sales Engineer is the responsible of managing of assigned customer base, generating and researching new business opportunities for the company, with adherence to ethical standards and the range of products and services divisions of DM and LP in the Central America and the Caribbean Cluster.


Main accountabilities:
a. Assortment of products, their technical characteristics. Attributes, uses and applications selection (Physical, value and other terms of sale).
b. Technically the engineer should be able to: perform technical presentation on a product and recommend its use.
c. Keeping track of clients, consultants, end users and distributers.
d. Promote the use of the products and get technical support where required, address and to channel of customer complaints and their suggestions.
e. Receive service requests from customers and users.
f. Researching of new business opportunities.
g. Managing and to channel requests for consulting and engineering firms.
h. Collect and document information on the market.
i. Knowing competitors on the market.
j. Knowing the structure and functioning of competitors.
k. Knowing the business and sales conditions.
l. Assortment of product / brand competitors.
m. Prospecting new customers and channels.
n. Follow up of advancement in projects of partners (distributors, customer companies or OEM-clients).
o. Working out and conducting client base.
p. Interaction with partners.
q. Responsible for the delivery of the annual budget.
r. Responsible for timely submission of monthly sales forecast.
Follow up and resolve complaints on the CCRP in order to guarantee good NPS results.

Internal and External relations:
Internal
a. Finance for Budget, revenues, orders received.
b. Human Resources for sales commission payment status.
c. Logistics for inventory.
d. IS for equipments maintenance
e. Sales Cluster Division meetings for quarterly reports, strategy,

External
a. Goverments, private companies, channels for possible new business relations
b. Legal for risk reviews evaluate the local laws ''


Requirements:
a. Experience of at least 2-3 years on sales of electrical equipment.
b. Solid Technical Knowledge.
c. Ability to interact both internally and externally.
d. Aggressive commercial skills, diligent, ability to team work and under pressure.
e. Technical literacy on electrical motors and drives equipment.
f. Strong communicative skills; skills of advancement and presentation,
g. Negotiating skills.


Education:
MBA or MS in Marketing, or Business preferred. Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related. English proficiency 80% written and spoken'
